With two Illinois degrees, Carl is a loyal friend and donor, a proud alumnus, and a strong advocate. The roots of Carl’s generosity to the University of Illinois and the College of Law run deep. He is a founding member of the John E. Cribbet Society; he partnered with the Class of 1996 for the first class endowment gift; he established the Carl L. Vacketta Chair in Law and the Carl L. Vacketta Scholarship in Law; and he was the co-chair of the College’s successful $50 million Brilliant Futures capital campaign.
