Professor Ross Organizes Symposium on Comparative Early Modern Legal History

On October 5, Illinois Law Professor Richard Ross and McGill Professor Allan Greer present "Symposium on Comparative Early Modern Legal History: Law and the French Atlantic" at the Newberry Library in Chicago. This conference will explore the legal dimension (broadly conceived) of the French Atlantic empire in the early modern period.
