Professor Kesan on Improving Government Cybersecurity

Law Professor Jay Kesan, director of the Program in Intellectual Property and Technology Law and leading national scholar in the areas of technology, law, and business, explains what steps the government should take to improve the cybersecurity infrastructure in the U.S. One recommendation is to focus more on denying the attackers success from their attacks through passive means, like firewalls, intrusion-detection systems and antivirus software, or active means, where the system ejects the intruder.
