Daniel Vander Ploeg is the Director of Information Services. His department is responsible for network services, user support and training, audio-visual services, educational technology, copy services, and telecommunications. Daniel originally joined the College of Law in 1998 as the network administrator, left for a short while to work for the University's Housing Division, and rejoined the College in 2007 to be the Director. Originally a native of the Chicago area, he earned his B.A. in Economics at the University of Illinois after serving for three years in the U.S. Army. Daniel is a member of the University's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Ally Network.
