The top four competitors of the spring Frederick Green Moot Court Competition will compete in the Honorary Round. Arguments will be heard by the Honorable Bernice Donald of the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Honorable John Koeltl of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, and the Honorable Mark Bennett of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Iowa.

The Frederick Green Moot Court Competition, named for longtime Professor Frederick Green, who served on the Illinois faculty from 1904 to 1939, is the oldest and largest moot court competition at the College of Law. The issue is a constitutional one and is briefed and argued as if before the United States Supreme Court.
