The 2014 College of Law Convocation will be held in the Great Hall at the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts on May 17 from 1:30 to 3 p.m. The College of Law will host an open house on May 16 and a reception on May 17 following the ceremony.
Parking is available in the Krannert Center garage, in metered spaces on nearby streets, and in permit lots (with the exception of 24-hour rental spaces) during commencement weekend. Please be sure to allow enough time to find parking since there are multiple convocation ceremonies on Saturday.
Graduates, family members, faculty, and honored guests are invited for an open house in the Peer and Sarah Pedersen Pavilion at the College of Law, 504 East Pennsylvania Avenue in Champaign on Friday, May 16 from 5 to 7 p.m. No tickets are required, and the College of Law Bookstore will be open during this time for browsing and last minute gifts.
Graduates, family, friends, and honored guests are invited to join the College of Law on Saturday, May 17 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. in the Peer and Sarah Pedersen Pavilion for a reception in honor of the Class of 2014. Please join us for this opportunity to celebrate and connect with faculty, family, and friends following the convocation ceremony. No tickets are required, and light refreshments will be served.

Graduates may choose to participate in a commencement ceremony with graduate and undergraduate students from various colleges throughout the university. More information about this ceremony, including ticketing and special accommodation for accessibility is available here.
Law Convocation Tickets
Tickets will be required for the Class of 2014 Convocation ceremony at the Great Hall at the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts.
Rest assured, more than enough tickets will be available to accommodate graduates and their guests. Additional details and information regarding ticket availability for this ceremony will be posted prior to graduation.

Accommodations, including special seating arrangements, are available at the Krannert Center for Performing Arts (KCPA) for guests who require special assistance.If you have guests with a physical condition such that they require accommodations, please be sure to contact Nicholas Puddicombe, KCPA Facility Manager at firstname.lastname@example.org or (217) 333-9716. Individuals are strongly encouraged to contact Mr. Puddicombe at least two weeks prior to the Convocation date to ensure accommodations are available on the day of the ceremony.
Academic Regalia (Caps and Gowns)
The University requires regalia (caps and gowns) to participate in the Convocation and Commencement ceremonies. Students may order regalia online through Herff Jones website. We recommend that you do this at your earliest convenience. Regalia orders must by placed online by 10:00 pm on April 17. When placing your order please select the following options under “degree type”: for JD students select Doctorate; for LLM students select Masters.
Please remember to print your receipt if ordering online. You will be asked to present your receipt at time of pick up. Rental fees must be paid in full by cash or check, made payable to Herff Jones, when you pick up apparel on the designated distribution dates in May. Payment cannot be made in advance.
