Recent Class Notes
Robert Welch (JD '72) is retiring as public defender for Cass County, Illinois at the end of May 2013. After four decades in public service, Welch plans to continue working in private practice.
Nekima Levy-Pounds (JD '01) has been promoted to the rank of Full Professor at the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis. Levy-Pounds is director of the Community Justice Project (CJP), an award-winning civil rights legal clinic, at St. Thomas.
